ROTI Bar & Restaurant

Curry King of Glasgow Ryan Singh and Cousin Roshan Singh already from Edinburgh have taken over Roti Restaurant which has in the past two years, built up a solid reputation for setting a precedence in Indian–Scottish cuisine.

Serving the best Scottish meat, game and fish produce, freshly prepared using innovative Indian recipes and contemporary presentation, Roti sets itself apart from any other Indian offering in the city. This is Indian food as it is meant to be.

At home in Edinburgh’s financial and cultural district, Roti offers an a la carte restaurant and fine wine bar, as well as a cutting edge eclectic range of cocktails and premium beers, in its sleek modern bar.

Roti also introduces the casual eating concept ‘Tiffin’ to Edinburgh.  These tapas-style menus have the same ethos of quality-led ingredients with a home-cooked style, using secret family recipes, adding a twist to the traditional Tiffin boxes that are used all over India.

The interior is warm minimalist and chic, allowing the food to speak for itself. Plain white walls and bespoke tables with slick, black furniture are enlivened by sporadic bursts of colour.  Voile curtains in bright pinks, yellows, blues and greens drape from the floor-to-ceiling windows and bowls of fuchsia blossoms ensure an exotic yet classic culinary setting.
